Great Prayer-walking training tool !
Many Christians have been learning to quietly pray in the places that they live, work or play. We've come to call this sort of on-site intercession "prayerwalking." Prayerwalking is simply praying in the very places we expect God to bring forth his answers. Prayerwalking is usually a low-profile affair: Friends or family stroll two-by-two through their own neighborhoods, schools and work places, praying as they go. Once in a while the prayers can be demonstrative, but most prayerwalking is fairly quiet. It's usually being on the scene without making one.
As you pray God's promises with specific homes or worksites in view, you'll find that hope for those people begins to grow. You'll begin to see people as God might view them. You'll likely find yourself becoming more interested in the welfare of the people you are praying for. In other words, you might find yourself becoming the kind of neighbor that you always wanted to be.
Watch for the ways God impresses you to display his love in practical acts of kindness. Be ready to offer to pray with your neighbors as opportunity may arise. Ask God to give you opportunity to explain clearly how people can enjoy friendship with God by the power of the gospel.

Another GREAT tool!

"Prayer walking is a method of intercessory prayer that involves walking while praying at the location of the prayer journey. Prayer walking is a way of being on the scene without making a scene. It could also include riding, jogging, boating, biking, or any other means of transportation. The method of communication is to pray on site, rather than from a distance. This book includes a journey to China and India as Calvin Miller and Dan Crawford take the reader on an actual prayer walk. You will be able to see the stones under your feet, see the beggars by the side of the road, see the crumbling buildings, and attest to the poverty--material and spiritual. Feel the power of God as these men walk and pray, and then observe God immediately answering these prayers. Read about God-encounters with the Islamic religion. Then be prepared to begin your own prayer walk with the Lord." Order here

Prayer Walking — Developing an Evangelistic Vision
Here are some ways you can prayerwalk (Adapted from Follow Me: Becoming a Lifestyle Prayerwalker):- Prepare by confessing any sins you need to confess to God and asking Him for the grace to live in ways that are pleasing to Him.
- Ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit to give you wisdom and knowledge about how He would like you to pray.
- Read the Bible often and ask God to bring verses to your mind when they relate to a particular situation.
- Invite God to show you where he wants you to prayerwalk, and be willing to visit the places He reveals.
- If you can, find a friend who will prayerwalk with you.
- Praise God while you’re walking, thanking Him for His presence and worshipping Him.
- Feel free to pray either silently or aloud.
- Be alert to what the Holy Spirit reveals to you as you walk, and also to what you observe about your surroundings. Pray accordingly.
- Claim God’s Scriptural promises for the people in that place, and ask God to bless them.
- If you sense evil’s presence in the place you’re prayerwalking, resist it through prayer in Jesus’ name.
- Look for opportunities to speak to people. If someone approaches you, explain that you’re praying for people in that area, and ask if there is anything that person would like you to pray about for him or her. Pray for the requests you receive right then.
- If someone asks you about your faith, be willing to share a brief testimony about what Jesus has done in your life.
- Pray with trust and eager anticipation, expecting God to answer your prayers.
- Expect God to transform you as well as the people you pray for, and be open to how God might want to grow you through the process of prayerwalking.
- Help your church serve the community through regular prayerwalks in local neighborhoods. For example, your congregation might send postcards to local residents letting them know the date and time of an upcoming prayerwalk and asking them to e-mail or call the church with specific prayer requests. People will likely be watching for prayerwalkers at the appointed time and may decide to visit the church sometime afterward.
- As a congregation, pray about God’s vision for your community, and adjust your church’s vision to incorporate that broader vision. READ SOURCE

Prayer Walking is Preparation to God Working ...
“Prayer walking enables us to saturate our neighborhoods with prayer by concentrating on homes and families to respond to the working of God in their lives and eventually the receiving of the Gospel of John to every home. It is praying on site with insight. It is simply the Spirit of God helping us to pray with spontaneity in the middle of the place where we desire the Lord to work and answer our prayers. Prayer walking is a way to focus our prayers actively while walking the streets or where there are people who have a spiritual need.”
Prayer walking is not a picnic – it is work! It is interceding to God for people in a specific place that He will free them from the darkness and lostness that the devil has them in.
Personal Preparation
Before beginning the prayer walk (depending on the location, the group may be driving around the area and praying instead of walking), the team will meet for a brief time of worship, silent prayer to confess any sins, forming a circle to pray as a group for protection as they go out, and that the Holy Spirit will go before them to guide each step. It is also a time to receive any instructions that may need to be given. The team will divide into groups of two to three people, praying with eyes open, walking in a designated area, praying aloud if you choose to do so, not to call attention to yourselves, but walking in a natural manner, praying for the people in the area. A specific time will be set to meet back to share experiences.
As You Are Walking
Be attentive to the leading of the Holy Spirit to see the people in the area and their needs.
* Praise the Lord as you pray and walk
* Ask the Lord to bind the forces of evil in the area where you are praying
* Claim the promises of God, and pray Bible verses you remember
* Pray that God will prepare the hearts of the people to receive the material
* Pray that someone in each family will read the Gospel of John and tract
* Pray that the lost will open their hearts to the Gospel of Christ and be saved
* Pray that the sowing of this gospel will bring a harvest of souls into the kingdom
* Ask the Lord to cause a spiritual awakening in each home
* Pray for protection for those who will be saturating homes with the gospel this week
